Illustration
I’ve loved to draw since I was young and I continue to enjoy it through digital illustration. I began illustrating in Adobe Illustrator but once I got an iPad and tried using an Apple Pencil in Procreate I never looked back. On this page I’ve included three of my favorite illustration projects.
Illustrating things that bring me joy,
from A to I (so far)
At the start of the pandemic I had a lot of free time on my hands and needed to keep my thoughts positive, so I started illustrating different things that brought me joy. This kept me busy during lockdown, helped me practice illustration, and allowed me to experiment with different digital illustration techniques. I illustrated A–F in Illustrator and G–I in Procreate.
Illustrated Guide to Sydney, Australia
In college I spent time in Sydney, Australia Iiving on a student’s budget, so my friends and I found things to do around the city that were fun AND reasonably priced. I put this map and booklet together to easily share my finds with friends and family and then created these illustrations to bring the memories to life. All illustrations created in Adobe Illustrator.
Friendsgiving
Last November I ate (or more accurarely, inhaled) the most delicious friendsgiving meal of my life. The spread was so tasty that my friends wanted it memorialized in a recipe booklet and I volunteered to illustrate the dishes to add a fun visual element. All illustrations created in Procreate.
